Sloped lots, rock, tight access, a stone wall nobody may move. Coral Sea has been designing around Westchester and Putnam ground since 1982, which is long enough to know what the ground will do before the machine arrives.

Gunite is shot in one continuous day. Everything before it is preparation; everything after it is finish.

01 How much does a gunite pool cost in Westchester County?

Cost is driven by size, depth, access, what is under the topsoil, and the finish you choose. A sloped Katonah lot with rock is a different job from a flat Scarsdale one. Coral Sea prices each project after seeing the ground.

02 How long does it take to build an inground pool?

A gunite pool runs through seven stages, and each has to follow the one before. A fiberglass pool is a different route: the shell is pre-formed, and you can be swimming in under two weeks, subject to availability.

03 Gunite or fiberglass, which is right for my backyard?

Gunite is poured to your drawing, so shape, depth and finish are unrestricted; it is what most Westchester gardens with an awkward footprint end up needing. Fiberglass is faster and comes in set shapes. Coral Sea builds both.

04 Do you service pools you did not build?

Yes, year-round service and maintenance, plus pool, deck and spa repair. Existing service clients: service@coralseapools.com or (914) 762-1133.

05 What are the maintenance requirements for a gunite pool?

Gunite pools require weekly chemical balancing, skimming, and occasional brushing of the plaster finish to prevent algae buildup. Our dedicated service team handles all of this for you so you can just enjoy the water.

06 Do you offer financing options for new pools?

Yes, we partner with specialized lenders who offer financing specifically for pool construction. We can provide you with information on current rates and help you through the application process.
